Some may suggest that we have our birthstone personality.. For example, amethyst may symbolise sobriety, whereas ruby symbolizes passion. With these forms of beliefs associated with gemstones, we may tend to feel these things whenever we put on the symbolic stone jewellery. But we shouldn’t define ourselves by these birthstone legends, because our personality and identity are far more complex and wholesome than just the birthstone !

We sell beautiful, exquisitely-crafted jewellery designs, including rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, bangles & pendants. Our jewellery is mostly sourced from craftsmen in Saudi Arabia.
We sell exclusively online, and have no physical stores. We have a first-come, first-served policy. – Once we have confirmed payment receipt, we will automatically mark the item as SOLD on our pages. We can’t reserve an item for you. However, you do have the opportunity to place pre-orders with much of our stock. All items are shipped with beautiful jewellery boxes.
THE PROPRIETOR
The proprietor of RKiddle’s Jewellery is Rovelyn Kiddle.
Rovelyn completed her three year jewellery apprenticeship in 2022, with a Melbourne jeweller, who specialised in high-quality, fully handcrafted jewellery. The jeweller’s shop was fully equipped with the appropriate tools for making and repairing all types of jewellery, and Rovelyn was taught the techniques.
Rovelyn was also taught in detail about identifying, selecting, cutting and polishing precious and semi-precious stones. She was taught about casting – forming moulds and working with molten precious metals to form shapes. She learned and observed the methods of stone setting – selecting and fixing stones into a form and ensuring it was secure, and also mounting – creating parts of jewellery to which precious stones are fitted.
She learned to identify diamonds and to assess their quality characteristics such as cut, color, and clarity, as well as carats. She learned polishing and finishing – applying different processes and materials to produce a polish and shine to an item or highlight a special finish.
She was required to (hand) manufacture various items of jewellery, including bangles and earrings, especially during the two-year COVID lockdown period.
As well, she became responsible for dealing with customers and assessing jewellery repairs, and taking remaking and remodelling jobs. She was responsible for front of house jewellery sales, and marketing.
When her apprenticeship finished, she decided that there were many reasons to sell jewellery, and that she would set out on her own !!
